ViBE - "Clocks" Cover (feat. Jaxon Vogler, Jessica Jagar and Joshua Khan)

Our Virtual Interactive Band Experience (VIBE) has been making wonderful strides forward. For those of you that don’t know, VIBE is our answer to how to get our students the experience of playing in a band without the need to be in the same room at the same time. Each student records their part, or parts, individually to a metronome and sends it here to us at Minds On Music. Then with a little editing and studio magic we blend all the parts together and end up with this wonderful virtual performance.

This video is our first step beyond pedagogic material and into the world of covers. Jessica Jagar, Joshua Khan, and Jaxon Vogler really step up to this challenge of reproducing a classic. Joshua does an incredible job of being the pulse of this song. His strumming patterns really set the foundation that caries this piece. Jessica steps up to the role of front person and delivers an amazing melody while Jaxson really fills in the harmonies and takes control of the dynamic of the sections. These students did an amazing job reproducing this work. I hope everyone enjoys “Clocks”.
