Natasha was born in San Diego, CA, but moved to Florida soon after. Her love for music began at a young age, and she began taking guitar lessons from her church children’s minister. After taking a break from music to pursue ballet, Natasha began taking guitar from Mr. Derrick and voice from Mrs. Rebekah at Minds On Music. She was a member of M.O.M.’s student band, Noteworthy, for two years.
Passionate about worship music, Natasha joined the youth praise team at Coastline Calvary Chapel in her sophomore year of high school. The following year, Natasha became a co-leader of the team with two other students, then became the sole leader as a senior. Now, as a freshman in college, she has joined the adult praise team.
The thing Natasha loves most about Minds On Music is the fun and supportive atmosphere. Everyone is so kind and encouraging, challenging her to meet her goals.
Natasha no longer dances, but she loves to garden, read, and spend quality time with her loved ones. After receiving a general AA degree in the spring 2021 from Pensacola State College, Natasha will transfer to the University of Florida to major in Plant Science. She hopes to find a new church, where she can continue to be involved with worship.
