Jarrod’s musical journey began early, starting piano at age six and violin at ten. During high school, he joined the local youth orchestra and started transcribing his favorite soundtracks by ear, sparking a passion for composition. He chose to focus his studies on violin and earned a B.A. in Music from Pensacola Christian College. Jarrod believes music influences people both physically and mentally, shaping the way they play. As a teacher, he’s especially passionate about bridging the gap between technical precision and expressive artistry.
Today, Jarrod remains an active violinist in the Pensacola area, performing in his church orchestra and at weddings. He also composes and arranges for personal performances and commissions. Outside of music, Jarrod enjoys time with his wife, Madeline, and their cat, Gemini, along with hobbies like working out, cooking, and tabletop gaming with friends.
