Miss Ina Yefimov

Piano / Voice / Flute

Music has always been a big part of Ina’s life. She had a mother who wanted her children to have the same love for music she had. Ina grew up singing in church, taking part in co-op orchestras and choirs, and having music lessons. As a child, she had piano and violin lessons but had always wanted to play the flute. When she turned twelve, she began to take flute lessons. She started playing flute in a co-op orchestra and by the end of the school year became a first flutist. Soon after she was able to join her church’s worship team and learned the important skill of improvising on the flute.

Although Ina loved to play the flute, she also really loved to sing. She was able to get voice lessons for a couple years in high school, but most of her singing was self-taught. When she was eleven years old, she wrote her first song “Jesus is Alive” and later was able to put it on her high school album “Victory in Jesus”. She has a YouTube channel where she has been able to share some of the songs she has written throughout the years. Just recently in 2021, she was able to release a single called “Broken” which can be found on all social media platforms.

When she went to Pensacola Christian College in 2017, she was able to receive professional voice and flute lessons, join several different choirs and orchestras, and learn foundational music theory. She will be graduating in May with her bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education along with a minor in music performance.

In her free time, Ina loves to run, work out, eat good food, read, and hang out with friends. Ina is very excited to be able to combine her passion for music and teaching at Minds on Music.
