Mr. Connor Bond
Guitar / Drums / Piano / Recording
Mr. Connor started playing guitar at an early age and is mainly self-taught. In middle school, his band played Pink Floyd in front of the entire school. In 2017 he completed an A.A. in guitar performance at Pensacola State College. There, he studied with Dr. Stallings and Dr. Villa (a Florida State doctoral student) who urged him to go audition for Bruce Holzman, head of the Florida State University guitar program. After studying with Bruce, Mr. Bond studied jazz playing in Rodney Jordan’s jazz combo.
Throughout his time at FSU, Mr. Connor was studying and touring the southeast playing in funk, reggae, math-rock, country, and soul/dance bands, as well as recording music with his friends. After making a mark in the local/regional scene, COVID hit and everything stopped.
Mr. Connor ended up back in Pensacola where he completed his B.A. degree at the University of West Florida in music and psychology. He enjoys reading, listening to records, and playing jazz and classical music on the guitar, as well as writing and recording music.
